Life in Habersham County offers the benefits of a beautiful climate and natural landscape, a close community of neighbors, and a thriving center of business and learning. These characteristics make our county one of the last great treasures of the state of Georgia, and we consider it our duty to ensure that our school system is the silver thread that knits this community together. As we work every year to be a model of continual improvement in a caring environment, our mission is to create a World-Class education for all of our students so that they are poised for college or the work-place.

How do we accomplish this goal? It starts with our relationship with you. We know that no school system can excel by working alone. Instead, we are working to earn your trust, faith, and partnership by creating a school system that you will be proud to support. It is our hope that the harder we work and the wider our doors open, the more our community will see us as the apple of Habersham's eye.

As your school superintendent, I hope you will join us in this mission and share in the wonderful future ahead for our students.
